The GoldenEar T66

The T66 honors the critically acclaimed Triton Series, sharing a similarly tall, slender profile; built-in DSP-controlled subwoofer amplification; and a driver complement comprising GoldenEar’s High-Velocity Folded Ribbon AMT tweeter, cast-basket mid/bass units, quadratic planar radiators, and long-throw powered sub-bass section.

Onward and Upward

Several important cosmetic and sonic refinements distinguish the new T66 from previous GoldenEar speakers. These include a dramatically augmented crossover design, high-quality internal wiring, a new cast-aluminum base and metal grille, and, in addition to GoldenEar’s Gloss Black cabinet finish, a vibrant Santa Barbara Red.

The GoldenEar T66 is the result of a seamless fusion of high-performance engineering and contemporary design—where every element, visible or hidden, contributes to an experience greater than the sum of its parts. At its core, the T66 features a bespoke driver array anchored by their signature High-Velocity Folded Ribbon (HVFR™) tweeter, a custom-voiced mid-bass driver, and an integrated powered sub-bass system complemented by Quadratic Planar Low-Frequency Drivers and Passive Radiators. These components are brought together through a precisely tuned crossover network, delivering cohesive dynamics, pinpoint imaging, and commanding low-end authority.

Externally, the cabinet is sculpted for both acoustic integrity and architectural presence, while the precision-machined aluminum base isolates and stabilizes the system for optimal performance. Every line, curve, and material is chosen not just for style—but to serve the sound. The T66 isn’t just a speaker—it’s an expression of how thoughtful design and advanced technology can come together in perfect harmony.
